Welcome to the HGG Blog, we hope this will be a new and exciting format to discuss great web development and classic web design and the ways it can be leveraged to help animals. As a volunteer, a foster parent, and a web developer, my goal is to harness the power of web 2.0 technologies and revamp the good ‘ole grass roots approach to promoting adoptable animals and animals in desperate need.

Many non-profit animal welfare and rescue organizations lack a web presence. The rescue groups who do have websites are typically several paces behind the cutting edge. HourGlassGirl Productions aims to change this, for the good of the good organizations and the animals they protect and serve.
